Our Products & Materials

We supply our wet-strength, flame-resistant, and FLEXDura HE® water-resistant papers directly to tag manufacturers and converters who require rugged substrates for lockout/tagout, industrial, and durable tag and label applications. These papers also work for a wide range of applications where customers want to replace durable, polymer-based substrates with a paper that is 100% cellulose but holds up in the wettest and most rugged conditions.

We engineer specialized interleaving papers and films designed to protect metal and steel, electronics, circuit boards, plastic, and glass surfaces from abrasion, moisture, and transit damage.

Yes. We supply tea bag filter paper, coffee filter paper rolls, and materials for pods, cups, and pillows. Our advanced filtration line includes high-performance products like Coffilt 380 and the certified compostable Compofilt 380.

In addition to tags, interleaving, and filtration, our portfolio includes commercial baking paper, creped papers, electrical papers, flame-retardant papers, lumber wrap, steel coil packaging, and a host of custom-designed papers used for food packaging, industrial, and other applications.

Sourcing, Warehousing & Supply Chain

We utilize a worldwide supply base paired with strategic domestic warehousing to manage supply chain risks. For example, our premium filter paper is manufactured in Spain but warehoused right here in the USA. This model allows us to deliver world-class materials with fast, dependable domestic shipping.

We provide risk-managed supply chain support, which includes strategic inventory planning and warehousing. In select situations, we also offer consignment programs. By managing the inventory on our end, we increase efficiency, decrease your on-hand inventory requirements, and deliver the lowest total cost.

The Trial Process

Not at all. We understand that running a trial can feel like a disruption, so we are committed to a low-friction trial process. We work closely with your production staff to provide the exact specifications and custom dimensions required for your equipment before a single roll is shipped.

Yes. We don’t just ship trial rolls and wait for your feedback. Our team provides dedicated, hands-on technical support. We frequently travel on-site to our clients’ facilities to execute operational trials, assist directly with machine adjustments, and capture detailed performance notes to ensure the material runs flawlessly on your lines.

No. Because we offer custom conversion and flexible order volumes, we can supply the precise amount of material needed for a comprehensive trial run without forcing you into a high-volume commitment right out of the gate.

Total Cost of Ownership & Supplier Transition

Switching to a new supplier should solve problems, not create them. Our onboarding process is designed to be seamless and low-risk. Because we manage the supply chain, including warehousing our materials in the US, we ensure steady availability so your transition is smooth and your production never misses a beat. Our goal is to provide the product with the lowest total cost based on material selection and design, logistics, inventory, and ongoing quality. Most customers realize a six- to twelve-month payback after moving to Flexlink.

We look far beyond the initial per-roll price. Our value is built into operational efficiency. By providing custom-engineered materials that are matched to your machinery, we help you reduce material waste, minimize equipment jams, and increase line speeds.

No. A major part of lowering your TCO involves reducing the capital you have tied up in the warehouse. We provide strategic inventory planning and risk-managed supply chain support, meaning we hold the inventory on our end. This decreases your on-hand storage requirements while ensuring you have what you need, exactly when you need it.

Mill-Agnostic vs. Mill-Direct Sourcing

Paper mills naturally focus on the grades their existing machines are set up to run. Flexlink is mill-agnostic. We start with your technical substrate and manufacturing requirements, then source from the specific paper machine, pulp furnish, and chemistry profile that fits your exact application. We also eliminate the high order minimums that individual mills often require by managing volume aggregation and custom conversion.

Single-sourced, mill-direct supply exposes your operations to significant risk if a machine is reallocated, rebuilt, or decommissioned, and in today’s environment, closures and rebuilds are common. Flexlink maintains qualified manufacturing options across North America, Europe, and Asia and continuously monitors global mill capacity, so a pre-qualified secondary source is ready without disrupting your production.

No. Flexlink does not stand between you and the manufacturing process. You maintain direct technical collaboration, machine run participation, and access to all quality documentation. We handle the commercial risk, supply continuity, custom converting, and quality assurance around that relationship.

Technical Engineering & Interleaving Performance

High-value surfaces such as display glass, automotive glass, chemically strengthened aluminosilicate, and polished metals are vulnerable to chemical and physical defects. Standard industrial papers often carry residual process chemicals, ionic loads, reducible sulfur, chlorides, or silicone defoamers that cause staining, haze, or leaching. Flexlink engineers glass interleaving papers with tightly controlled chemical purity, specific pH levels, and non-abrasive surface finishes such as Machine Glazed (MG) to prevent scratching, linting, and surface reactions.

Lab testing only confirms whether a small sample is chemically compatible with your surface in isolation. It cannot determine whether a paper machine’s water quality, cleaning systems, and pulp variations can replicate that result consistently across hundreds of tons. Flexlink bridges the gap between lab screening and commercial reality by evaluating the specific mill equipment, run speeds, and long-term repeatability.

Clean-Room Converting & Quality Assurance

Converting is a critical cleanliness operation, not merely a cutting and logistics step. Through our AccuraFLEX sheeting division and specialized converting partners, we maintain segregated handling discipline for sensitive and ultra-clean grades. We use dedicated web-tension controls to eliminate pressure wrinkles and implement strict dust-extraction and slitting standards to prevent particulate buildup on your product.

Every converted roll or sheeted stack can be linked directly to its parent mill roll and heat/batch lot through our proprietary Roll Traceability Program. If an unexpected anomaly occurs on your production line, our lot tracking allows for an immediate, audit-ready quality investigation back to the original pulp and machine run.

Total Cost of Failure vs. Initial Paper Price

The initial per-pound or per-roll paper price is only a fraction of the true project cost. Sourcing an unverified or incompatible sheet can lead to repeated line trials, delayed commercial launches, machine downtime, elevated scrap rates, and costly customer claims. Flexlink’s coordinated technical approach eliminates these hidden failure costs from the outset, and that requires specialized knowledge. In most cases, our customers prefer to rely on Flexlink for this expertise rather than develop it internally.
